Connect free apps to do cool stuff – Multiple Choice Quiz in Cognito Forms, connected by a Zap to Google Sheets

There are loads of free apps out there to use for education, those familiar with If This Then That will know that you can connect these apps to do cool things, however, there is an even more powerful connector called Zapier. It’s free for low level users, and means that you can mash together data collected in one app, with that in another.

Zapier works on the concept of a trigger and an action i.e. if someone fills in my quiz in one app, insert the data in another.

Step 1

Create an account with Cognito Forms

Then access the shared template:

Step 2

Copy my Learning Record Template into your Google Drive Account

Step 3

Create an account with Zapier

https://zapier.com

Step 4

Edit the Cognito template provided as you see fit. You must run it at least once before trying to connect it via Zapier.

Step 5

Create your Zap in Zapier as shown in my video.

Step 6

Run the quiz and watch the data appear in your Google Sheets.
